ភាពយន្តនិទានជាតក "នាងវេទេហិកា" មានគហបតីនីម្នាក់ ឈ្មោះ វេទេហិកា ជាអ្នកមានចិត្តស្លូតបូត ធ្វើទាន មិនចេះខឹងក្រោធឡើយ។មានទាសីម្នាក់ឈ្មោះកាឡីជាអ្នកបម្រើមានប្រាជ្ញាចង់ល្បងម្ចាស់ខ្លួនប្រើគ្រប់មធ្យោបាយអោយវេទេហិកាខឹង ហើយក៏បានសម្រេចធ្វើអោយនាងលុះក្នុងកំហឹង វាយទាសីបែកក្បាល។ញាតិមិត្តចាប់ផ្តើមបំភ្លេចទង្វើល្អនាងហើយលើកតែចំណុចអាក្រក់ឡើងរហូត ធ្វើអោយវេទេហិកាមានអារម្មណ៍ស្តាយក្រោយ។
